Enterprise applications have traditionally been used by a few people between the hours of 9 to 5. With the consumerization of IT, and the prevalence of mobile connectivity, many “workers” are accessing applications via a mobile device. With the rise of mobile-first applications, applications are often becoming connection-bound and architectures are changing to account for this.
